Kamer van Koophandel - KvK

Some words from Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Amsterdam.

It is a great privilege to me to have been asked by Amsterdam Seaports Association to chair the trade mission to the Baltic States, which will take place from l9 until 25 October 2003. As we consider your markets to be of real importance to us, companies and organisations from all vital industries and services in the Amsterdam region, varying in size but also in skills, have shown a great interest to visit your country. We are convinced that the business co-operation between the Netherlands and your countn/ can still be strengthened. When combining your strong sectors with our highly developed distribution function and relevant sectors, together we can offer competitive products and services to the world market.

But this is only one example of what we could achieve when closely working together. I am certain that both our countries have much more to offer, in the field of business as well as in other fields. It is clear to us that your expertise and commitment will be a vital ingredienti n determiningt he successo f our mission.W e hope and trust that you will share it with us.
I am convinced that our visit to your country will lead to fruitful business contacts for both your companies and organisations and ours and that this visit will further strengthen the friendship and good relations between our countries.
