Amsterdam Ports Association

The Amsterdam Ports Association (AmPorts) is a public Private Partnership of the port and transport industries, the local and provincial Administrations in the North Sea Canal area - the municipalities of Amsterdam, Beverwijk, Velsen and Zaanstad and the Province of North Holland.













The Association's objective is to market and promote the Port region as a multi-purpose port and a European distribution center. It promotes the wealth of opportunities and facilities in the region and encourages companies from abroad to set up in the area. Members of the Association are the Private enterprises, which are active in the ports, the port authorities, municipalities, the Province of North Holland and a number of other institutions; in total over 300. The Association's activities are of particular benefit to those companies, which are active in the port and the regional transport business.

Activities:
Maritime networking: organizing events to facilitate interactions Between the port business community and prospects in Holland and abroad;
member meetings, and special Promotional projects.
Communications is suing the quarterly magazine 'Haven Amsterdam'
press information and documentation.
Facilities: photo, video and exhibition services, conferencing facilities.

The Association's office is located on the top floor of the Havengebouw (harbor building), overlooking the waterfront and the city center. The Association welcomes enquiries and is happy to provide you with all the information you may need about the ports.
