Waterland Terminal was founded in 1947 and is located in the Westport in the port of Amsterdam. Waterland terminal is a multipurpose stevedoring company specialized in the handling of steel Products, forest products, metals, palletized cargoes, projects and RO-RO cargoes.
There are two covered berths available for short sea-vessels up to 9000 ton deadweight. Cargoes discharged or loaded and which are not containerized are handled in a total indoor stevedoring-concept.
Discharged in door via a covered quay into the shed and loaded on to trucks or rail wagons under a roof as well. Using two 40 tons gantry cranes are also quartering an excellent barge operation. There are dehumifeid shedcompartements available.
